Sangkuriang In ancient times, the land of Parahyangan was ruled by a king and queen who had a son named Dayang Sumbi. Dayang Sumbi was a spoiled child and when one day, she was spinning the yarn and the yarn fell down until she got angry and swore that anyone as long as it was a man who wanted to take her spun she would accept him as her husband.
